One of the most frequently asked question by my clients is “how bad is the regular use of makeup for the skin?”

Who doesn’t wear makeup these days, I mean WHO?

I have clients asking me literally to formulate a serum-based foundation for them to use while they drop off their kids to school.

And I totally get that, because even I have caught myself wearing makeup in a condition where I couldn’t even talk because of illness. My only concern, I didn’t want to look sick when I was sick!!

But you know what, you don’t have to have clogged pores and dull skin because of wearing makeup everyday, all day.

You can pull off clear vibrant skin even after feeding it with those concealers and foundations for 10 straight hours everyday.

Just follow these 5 tips and you are good to go.

1.Use makeup with SPF for the day.

Its a total myth that you need to let your skin breathe by leaving it bare. Skin does not have a respiratory system that it can breathe. And makeup is not bad for your skin if you use appropriate formula for your skin type.

Where a layer of foundation and setting powder provide additional protection against the sun-rays, you have to understand that it cannot be replaced by a proper sunscreen.

A foundation doesn’t compensate for a sunscreen.

Don’t think that wearing a thick layer of foundation means you are protecting your skin completely from UVA and UVB rays.

You need to wear a shield of physical sunscreen under your foundation or use a foundation that carries an SPF in it.

I usually tell my clients to buy a setting powder with an SPF,so they can reapply it every 2-3 hours during the day. Even the setting sprays with sun protection factor solve the purpose.

2.Use oil-free makeup if you have oily skin.

Just the way different skin types need different skincare; they need different makeup too.
Where makeup is concerned, it doesn’t go by the rule of one for all.

Especially the oily skin needs to kept far off from heavy oil based foundations and primers.
Sometimes the synthetic perfumes and oils can travel deep into the skin and cause inflammation and result in breakouts and blemishes too.

There is wide choice of oil free makeup available in different brands that can give a perfect matte finish to the skin without disrupting its natural oil balance.

3.Clean your makeup brushes and sponges.

I know that cleaning the making brushes sounds like a total work to everyone. But its way too important to clean the brushes at least once a month otherwise every time to apply makeup, you are wearing all the bacteria, dirt and oil that the brushes carry on them.

4.Makeup has an expiry date.

Generally what we do is use the makeup till it gets out of trend without taking into account the expiry date of the product. Especially foundations and mascara, once opened, get exposed to air, allowing the bacteria to enter the bottle.

These products if used even after the expiration date, might cause some serious allergies and infections.

You should never use cosmetics post expiration. They should be tossed after the expiration date, no matter how much product is still left to use.

5.Just a makeup-removing wipe isn’t enough to take off the makeup.

Consistent use of creamy, oil based layers of foundations and primers can cause the pores to clog resulting in bumpy skin surface and other signs of ageing like blemishes and uneven skin tone.

Makeup removing wipes are not enough to break down the thick layer of makeup thoroughly. Its important to use a makeup remover with the formulas that are designed to wipe off the makeup before wetting your face to use a face wash.

After cleaning the face with the make up wipe, use a cotton ball drenched with a good quality makeup remover to gently take off the makeup and then wash off with a hydrating face wash.
If not carrying any makeup remover, use jojoba oil to remove the makeup.

Its very important to go easy on the delicate area around the eyes. Use a gentle eye makeup remover specially formulated for the sensitive area around the eyes, to remove the eye makeup and that waterproof mascara without pulling and rubbing the delicate skin.

Even gentle exfoliation or a pore-clearing mask would work very well after taking off the makeup at night, keeping the pores clean.

Wearing makeup for longer hours, day after day, has far more affect on your skin then you realize.
So if you are using makeup regularly and at the same time keen to keep your skin in the best of health, its very important that you follow these simple tips and avoid the harmful effects of makeup.

Is Wearing Makeup Everyday Bad For Your Skin?

Many of your daily makeup products contain harsh chemicals that can disrupt functions of the protective barrier of your skin, making it easier for pathogens to enter your skin. Using makeup regularly can cause various side effects, impacting the health and natural glow of your skin.

However, this doesn’t mean that you cannot use makeup at all. If you follow a few healthy makeup habits and choose skin-friendly products, you can continue to wear makeup everyday.

8 Side Effects of Wearing Makeup Regularly

It’s important to understand how the makeup you use right now is affecting your skin. If you are experiencing one or more of the side effects listed below, it’s time to do something about it.

1. Clogged Pores

If you are applying makeup on a regular basis and leaving it on your skin for a long time, there are chances that your skin pores get clogged. This does not let your skin breathe, making it prone to acne, bumps and other facial skin problems. You may notice bumps around your eyes as well.

2. Untimely Aging

3. Dry or Oily Skin

Makeup products that do not suit your skin type, can make your skin drier or oilier. People with dry skin may experience extreme dryness if they use makeup that’s not meant for their skin type. Similarly, those with oily skin may experience too much of oil production than usual after using the wrong products.

4. Breakouts

Breakouts may occur due to hormonal imbalance, certain medications, improper diet etc. But regular usage of makeup can add to your woes and trigger more frequent breakouts. Skin experts agree that those with acne-prone skin should limit their makeup usage. Applying less makeup can improve your skin’s health and reduce blackheads too.

5. Allergic Reaction

While some makeup products look similar, ingredients vary from one brand to another. Products formulated with mild ingredients do not harm your skin. However products with harmful chemicals like paraben and SLES can cause allergic reactions. If you are allergic to certain ingredients, such products can make it worse. They can make your skin itchy and uncomfortable.

6. Colour Changes

Wearing makeup everyday has side effects but sleeping with makeup through the night can damage your skin to a great extent. Created due to the pollution and sun, free radicals can [1] affect the collagen weakening your skin and lead to changes in your skin colour. For example, when long lasting lipsticks are worn for more than 10 hours, it darkens the colour of your lips as it contains ingredients that block oxygen supply to your lips.

7. Eye Infections

The area around your eyes and your eyelid is thin and delicate. This is also where you use makeup like foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. Any kind of irritant in your eye makeup can cause severe harm to your eyes. It can even lead to an eye infection.

The Food and Drug Administration [2] advises checking ingredients before using any eye makeup. Avoid using harmful chemical-based products. Eye make up products can also trigger dark circles, if they are not removed before bed or if worn for a long period of time.

8. Cancer

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world. As per the Skin Cancer Foundation [3], one among 5 Americans goes through the disease. However, the American Cancer Society [4] has also established that there is very little evidence to conclude the relationship of makeup products with skin cancer. While there isn’t enough evidence to claim the correlation, ingredients like formaldehyde, coal tar, arsenic, silica and chromium are known to be carcinogenic.

When Should You Not Wear Makeup?

1. During Workouts

For those who are both makeup lovers and fitness enthusiasts, wearing makeup during your workout session is not recommended. During workout, your oil and gland pores open up. A heavy coating of makeup clogs pores and stops your skin from breathing. It can cause skin damages like wrinkles, fine lines, acne, blackheads, irritation etc.

2. When Your Makeup Expires

Keep an eye on the makeup labels. Products that have crossed their expiry date will not benefit your skin in any way. In fact, it will cause more damage, and lead to irritation. Also, expired makeup can harbour bacteria, which can cause skin infections.

How To Prevent The Side-Effects of Makeup?

Tips Before You Start Makeup

1. Buy The Right Product:

Every skin type is unique. So, you cannot use a product just because someone else is using it. Know your skin type and buy products that suit your skin and do not cause any allergic reaction. Check the label of the product to know if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If you are unsure, do a patch test using a tester product.

2. Moisturize:

Regardless of your skin type, never ignore the importance of a moisturizer. Those with oily skin may think moisturizing will make their skin oilier but such is not the case. Moisturizing will help you maintain the protective barrier on your skin. This can save you from skin issues like dryness, redness and even flaky skin.

3. Apply Sunscreen:

Sun damage causes early ageing of your skin. Thus it is important to apply sunscreen before you apply any makeup product. If you are not comfortable with sunscreen, use a moisturizer and foundation that provides sun protection.

Tips After Makeup

1. Clean The Brushes:

Once you are done with your makeup, do not forget to clean up the brushes and sponge. Wash these at least once a week. This is important, as harmful bacteria from your dead skin cells and sweat thrive on your makeup brushes. Deep cleaning your brushes will kill the bacteria.

2. Remove Makeup Before Bed:

It is mandatory to wash off your makeup before you go to bed. First, remove your makeup with a makeup remover, using soft cotton balls. Then, wash your face with a gentle face wash.

3. Never Share Your Makeup:

Sharing your personal makeup with others can spread bacteria. Avoid sharing makeup products.

Wrapping Up

While applying makeup regularly has some side effects, you can still use them by adopting a few healthy makeup habits. Also, when you apply makeup products daily, it calls for special care of your skin. Using good skincare products that keep your skin internally hydrated and healthy will ensure that using cosmetics will not harm your skin.

7 Reasons Why Your Skin Care Routine is Important. Do you have a skin care routine? Or do you just prefer to fall asleep each night and not worry too much about what is on your skin? You may not think too much about your skin care routine, but the truth is you should.

Your skin is one of the largest organs your body has, and it works hard every day to protect our bodies from harmful elements. Taking care of your skin and developing a skin care routine is important, because it can help this organ do its job better and longer. If you still aren’t convinced that a skin care routine is important, take a look below at 7 reasons why your skin care routine is important and something worth paying attention and time to.

1. Our skin sheds itself daily – You may think your skin is healthy today, but did you know your skin cells shed just about every minute of every day? This means the healthy skin you have today will be shedding tomorrow, so if you don’t care for it know you could lose it to dull, less than perfect skin. Isn’t that a great reason to develop a daily skin care routine?  A detoxifying charcoal mask is a great way to remove the dead skin and keep your skin glowing.

2. All skin types are different – Perhaps you have a friend who doesn’t have a skin care routine and her skin looks great. Well, that is great for her, but did you know that all skin types are different? Because of this, your skin may require more care than the next persons. For this reason, a daily skin care routine is important.  We love that Lemongrass Spa offers a customizable skincare kit that is best suited for your skin type and needs.

3. Beautiful skin is a lifelong process – If you want gorgeous skin 30 years from now, the choices you make today will help that happen. Beautiful skin is a lifelong process, and developing a daily skin care routine today can help you keep beautiful skin for the future. At the same time, negative skin care routines now can harm your skin for the future.

4. Prevention is easier – Preventing potential skin problems now is easier than trying to fix skin issues in the future. Taking the time to involve yourself in a skin care routine daily takes less time than having to see dermatologists or address skin issues as a result of neglect down the line.

5. A skin care routine saves you money – When you take care of your skin health, you avoid issues down the line that can be costly. If you don’t want to deal with acne scars, deep wrinkles, skin discoloration, or other skin issues, a skin care routine now can prevent trips to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon in the future to address these issues.

6. When you look good you feel good – Having clean and clear skin can help boost your confidence and keep you looking your best! Your face is the first part of you others see when they meet you, so go forward with your best face forward. A daily skin care routine can help you do exactly this.

7. A skin care routine can help establish other healthy routines – Add a skin care routine to your other healthy living routines so you can develop better health habits all around. This can include oral care routines as well as hair and scalp routines. Do them all together so you can look and feel great!

Are you convinced now to give your skin care routine a second look? There is no time like the present to develop a skin care routine that works for you and can keep your skin looking and feeling amazing for years to come!

The Perfect 9-Step Skincare Routine

Whether you have a three- or nine-step routine, there’s one thing anyone can do to improve their skincare, which is to apply products in the right order. No matter your skin concerns, you’ll want to start with a clean, toned base, then apply concentrated, active ingredients, and finish by sealing in moisture—and, of course, SPF in the daytime. Here are the steps for a good skincare regimen:

  1. Wash your face. Morning and night, rinse your face water and rub a small amount of gentle cleanser between clean palms. Massage face wash all over your face using gentle pressure. Rinse your hands and massage your face with water to rinse your face until you’ve removed the cleanser and grime. Gently pat your face dry with a soft towel. If you wear makeup, you may need to cleanse twice at night. First, remove your makeup with cleansing oil or micellar water. Try leaving dedicated eye-makeup removers on for a couple of minutes to allow the makeup to come off more easily and avoid rubbing your eyes. Follow up with a full-face gentle cleanse.
  2. Apply toner. If you use toner, apply after cleansing your face and before everything else. Pour a few drops of toner into your palms or a cotton pad and gently swipe onto your face. If your toner is exfoliating—meaning that it removes dead skin cells with ingredients like glycolic acid—use only at night. Hydrating formulas can be used twice a day. Do not use exfoliating toner and retinoids or other exfoliators at the same time.
  3. Apply serum. Morning is a great time to use a serum with antioxidants—like a brightening vitamin C serum—because they protect your skin from free radicals you’ll encounter throughout the day. Nighttime is a good time to use a moisturizing serum with hyaluronic acid, which keeps your skin from drying out at night, especially if you’re using anti-aging or acne treatments that can irritate and dry out the skin. Serums can also contain exfoliants such as alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) or lactic acid. Whatever you’re using, always remember: Water-based serums should go underneath moisturizer; oil-based serums should be applied after moisturizer.
  4. Apply eye cream. You can apply regular moisturizer to your under-eye area, but if you decide to use a specialized eye cream, you’ll typically want to layer it underneath moisturizer, since eye creams tend to be thinner than face moisturizers. Try using an eye cream with a metal roller-ball applicator and storing it in the fridge to counteract puffiness in the morning. Using a hydrating eye cream at night can cause fluid retention that makes eyes look puffy in the morning.
  5. Use spot treatment. It’s a good idea to use acne spot treatments at night, when your body is in repair mode. Be wary of layering acne-fighting ingredients like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acids with retinol, which can cause irritation. Instead, make sure you’re doing the most to keep skin calm and hydrated.
  6. Moisturize. Moisturizer both hydrates skin and locks in all the other layers of product you’ve applied. Look for a lightweight lotion for the morning, ideally with SPF 30 or higher. In the evening, you can use a thicker night cream. Those with dry skin may want to use a cream morning and night.
  7. Apply retinoid. Retinoids (vitamin A derivatives including retinol) can reduce dark spots, breakouts, and fine lines by increasing skin-cell turnover, but they can also be irritating, especially for sensitive skin. If you use retinoids, know that they break down in the sun, so they should only be used at night. They also make your skin extra-sensitive to the sun, so sunscreen is a must.
  8. Apply face oil. If you use a face oil, make sure to apply it after your other skin-care products since nothing else will be able to penetrate the oil.
  9. Apply sunscreen. It may be the last step, but nearly any dermatologist will tell you that sun protection is the most important part of any skin-care regimen. Protecting your skin from UV rays can prevent skin cancer and signs of aging. If your moisturizer doesn’t contain SPF, you still need to wear sunscreen. For chemical sunscreens, wait 20 minutes before going outside for the sunscreen to be effective. Look for broad-spectrum SPF, meaning that your sunscreen protects from both UVA and UVB radiation.

These general skin care tips from dermatologists can benefit just about everyone.

    Applying sunscreen to hand

Apply sunscreen every day before you go outdoors. Sunscreen is the closest thing we have to a fountain of youth. It really can slow down skin aging. It can also help prevent skin cancer. Look for a sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection, SPF 30 (or higher), and water resistance.

While it’s important to protect infants’ skin from the sun, the AAD recommends applying sunscreen ONLY to children who are 6 months and older.

  2. Don’t smoke. Smoking speeds up how quickly your skin ages. If you smoke, your wounds will also take longer to heal. And research shows that smoking worsens some skin diseases, including psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa.
  3. Check your skin for skin cancer. Skin self-exams can help you find skin cancer early when it’s highly treatable. If you notice a spot that differs from the others, or one that changes, itches, or bleeds, make an appointment to see a dermatologist.
    Woman applying self-tanner in shower

Use a self-tanner if you like looking tanned. Anytime you tan indoors or outside, you prematurely age your skin. You also increase your risk of getting skin cancer. A self-tanner can give you the look you want without the risks. To keep your skin healthy, you want to protect it from the sun even when using a self-tanner.

  5. Use skin care products that match your skin’s needs. What’s your skin type — oily, dry, normal, combination, or sensitive? Do you have a skin condition? Using products formulated for your skin’s needs will help your skin look and feel its best.
  6. Resist the urge to scrub your skin clean. If you’ve been sweating heavily or have a serious acne flare, it may seem natural to scrub your skin. Don’t! Scrubbing irritates your skin, which can worsen any skin condition, including acne.
  7. Wash your face when waking, before bed, and after sweating. Washing when you wake up removes the dirt and bacteria that settle on your face while sleeping. Before bed, you want to remove makeup and grime, such as smog, smoke, or dirt, which may have landed on your skin.
African American man gently washing face in mirror

Gently wash your face. Gentle cleansing helps skin look its best. To gently cleanse your face, wet it with lukewarm water. Then apply a mild cleanser, gently applying the cleanser in a circular motion with your fingertips. Finish by completely rinsing off the cleanser and gently patting your face dry with a clean towel.

  9. Stress less. Finding healthy ways to manage stress can help your skin, too. Some skin diseases like psoriasis and atopic dermatitis (eczema) often appear for the first time when someone feels really stressed. Stress can also cause flare-ups of many skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
  10. See a board-certified dermatologist if you dislike something about your skin. When it comes to our skin, dermatologists are the experts. These doctors diagnose and treat thousands of different skin diseases. They also have the expertise needed to help people safely rejuvenate and care for their skin.

Exfoliating the skin with microdermabrasion is a skincare treatment. It can help with clogged pores, fine lines, uneven skin texture rejuvenation and skin tone. Exfoliation is an abrasive treatment that removes the skin’s outermost layers to promote the growth of new cells. It does not require any anesthesia numbing; it is a quick procedure with little downtime. It is usually painless and done by a particular machine. It can complete it once a month to once every three months. Face, including the neck, jawline, cheekbones, or forehead, upper thighs, buttocks, hips, abdomen, and waistline are common areas for the procedure.

Microdermabrasion may necessitate multiple treatment sessions to achieve the desired results. The length of time spent receiving treatment can vary depending on the treatment’s purpose and expectations. The skin absorbs and accepts moisturizers and serums much better after the procedure, which is beneficial for texture rejuvenation and skin tone. When comparing microdermabrasion to a chemical peel, the main difference is that the former does not involve chemicals and will not cause breakouts. People should avoid chemical peels, micro-needling, and laser treatments before the treatment to reduce the risk of irritation, broken capillaries, redness, and swelling.

As much as we loathe admitting it, skin problems can sometimes get the best of us. Sure, we have other things on our minds, careers, love lives, and friends, but when we break out, those blemishes frequently interfere with those more pressing thoughts.

Benefits and Applications Discussed to Improve Skin Tone and Texture Rejuvenation.

How to Remove Wrinkles for a Healthy Skin

One of the primary reasons people use microdermabrasion is to minimize the appearance of facial wrinkles caused by natural aging, stress, and sun damage, also known as photoaging. Women who received the treatment once a week for six weeks have seen an increase in brightness and a decrease in yellowness at the microdermabrasion site. They also noticed that their wrinkles were less recognizable.

Getting Rid of Spots and Uneven Pigmentation

Some people use microdermabrasion to treat uneven tone; this could be melasma or any other type of aging spot or a darker patch on your skin. The skin tone of women who received a combination of the technique and laser therapy improved significantly, and the texture rejuvenation is on an extraordinary level.

Reduce the Size of Pores and Blackheads

If you have a rash breakout or irritated skin, including blackheads, however, if you frequently get blackheads, the treatment may be a way to shrink your pores; this is a treatment for improving your skin condition and making pores less visible.

Acne and Skin Problems Scars Treatment

Reducing acne scars in exposure with this treatment is possible, considering that exfoliation will not remove deep acne scars. On the other hand, microdermabrasion does not require anesthesia or recovery time; this makes it an excellent treatment option for some people with acne scars who want to avoid more aggressive treatments.

Stretch Marks That Fade

Microdermabrasion is as effective as other treatments for stretch marks, such as tretinoin cream.  It promotes cell turnaround, which can hasten the healing process of your skin; this could explain why the treatment is so effective when stretch marks first appear.

Microdermabrasion is effective for a variety of skin conditions. Choosing the right practitioner is among the most important factors to consider. Skincare specialists working under the supervision of a healthcare provider, such as those found at a day spa, are sometimes the most cost-effective way to receive this treatment. If you have specific skin concerns, a cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist may have a better medical understanding of the risks and limitations of the procedure.

Dermatologists and plastic surgeons have one goal to help patients feel better about their appearance but differ in the procedures that hold the secrets to anti-aging skin. Cosmetic surgery is a sub-specialty for dermatology; a similarity would be they both attend medical school and complete residency. The difference is that a plastic surgeon completes a fellowship in a program with a surgical specialty working from an operating room. A dermatologist attaches post-residency training in cosmetic surgery working in a clinical setting. Referrals may occur between the two for excellent patient care. Some patients may prefer minimally invasive and topical procedures like dermal fillers, and others complete surgeries like tummy tucks and breast lift.

ABC Method versus Facelift, which is the Secret to Anti-Aging Skin

Vitamin A-derived antioxidants can help the skin appear smoother, even out skin tone, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles when used regularly. Sunlight, dirt, oil, allergies, chemicals, and pollutants are all harmful to the skin. It also refers to sunscreen to protect the skin from irritation and injury. Collagen production declines with age, but vitamin C may help boost it. A facelift can involve the removal of excess skin, the smoothing out of folds, and the tightening of facial tissue. One common reason is to conceal signs of skin aging. The choice is for the patient to make.

Preserving Collagen or Forehead Lift what’s your Choice to Reduce Wrinkles

Changing your face-washing routine is one way of preserving collagen, which gives skin a seamless, curvy, glowing complexion. Over time, collagen breakdown intensifies the appearance of facial wrinkles. Instead, we strongly advise using the right products to remove makeup and cleanse your skin gently. Another alternative is to inject platelets extracted from the patient’s blood into the skin. Since platelet-rich plasma contains a high concentration of stem cells, receiving these treatments either once-twice per year can be a tool in combating the ongoing deficit of collagen as skin ages. The forehead is among the most conspicuous areas of the face to age. A forehead lift is an excellent procedure for removing saggy, drapey wrinkle lines and shedding a few years of aging. The technique elevates the skin on the top of the head instantly removes the majority, if not all, wrinkles established there; even after getting this done, stay active and get as much rest as possible to avoid a reoccurrence and uncover the secret to anti-aging skin.

Darkening of the Skin or Saggy Eyes has Two Remedies Avoid Rubbing Eyes or Eyelid Surgery

When you’re sleepy, just waking up, or struggling with allergies, the temptation to rub your eyes is powerful, but you should try to resist it. People who rub their eyes quite often are much more likely to have discoloration of the skin under their eyes. They also increase their chances of developing sagging beneath the eyes and creasing on the eyelids. When you urge to rub your eyes, try closing your eyes, blinking, or applying cold compresses. Many women develop droopy eyes as they age, which can be inconvenient, appearing tired no matter how refreshed you feel. Consider eyelid surgery to get rid of that tired, drained appearance, in addition to removing years from the face. The only way to ensure the best care is by disclosing this information to the patient, and choosing the way forward is up to them.

Career satisfaction is the reward most professionals get from their work; in the two competing options helping patients gain their self-confidence is exceptionally gratifying. The result of restoration’s art is the secret to anti-aging skin.

The scientific amelioration of the modern world makes the young generation peculiarly obsessed with sincere ingenious approaches to smooth and glowing skin. Smooth and glowing skincare enhancement has become particularly original and creative over the years. To emphasize, Skincare is better attractive to humans because we are hooked on maintaining the outer beauty in our nature. Here are some of the best practices to achieve silky and vivid skin:

  • Wash your face with turmeric

Mix the turmeric powder with the gram flour, then add enough milk or water to form a paste. Apply this paste on you. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with plain water. This turmeric mixture gives an after-wash glow, and it’s a practice done once a week.

  • Coconut oil

This oil is a remedy for dull and dry skin to make it glow again. Warm up the oil slightly, apply it to the face and neck, and massage for a few minutes in gentle circular motions. Leave the oil on overnight. You can add some sugar to the oil and use it as a scrub to exfoliate your skin once or twice a week.

The adequate time for sleep is 7 to 9 hours. This sleep schedule maintains healthy skin and thus decelerates the aging process. The skin remains beautiful when you don’t have eye bags and wrinkles.

  • Drink a lot of Water

Dehydrated skin is not healthy. It gets wrinkled fast and starts breaking. Also, a drunk the alcohol is seen on how much a toll this takes on the skin. The advised water consumption is two liters or eight glasses of water a day. Keep your skin hydrated

Suppose you apply makeup or have oily skin; make sure to clean your face every evening. Also, periodically carry out facial care and massage to open any closed pores on oily skins. Ostensibly, this remedy helps maintain and polish skin and free it of acne.

  • Good diet and Exercise

Healthy and clean, fresh vegetables and fruits are organic and help maintain healthy glowing skin. A satisfying workout also revamps the flow of blood and keeps you hydrated from regular water intake during the training sessions.

  • Clean Your Make-up Brushes

Makeup brushes collect a lot of impurities, oils, dirt, and even if you wash and clean your skins, you’ll keep on reapplying the grimy matter all over you, thus hastening the risk of soreness, acne, dry skin, and various skin ailments.

Looking beautiful is something that can make any women feel good about themselves. It is essential to take the time to pamper yourself and put some time into your beauty routine. This article will give you many tips on enhancing the beauty that you naturally have every day.

If you are having problems keeping your lipstick from feathering and bleeding, try this trick: As you apply your foundation, base, or tinted moisturizer to your face, cover your lips in a thin layer of the product as well. This will serve as a sort of primer on which your lipstick can bind and remain steadfast.

Make your skin more beautiful by eating fruit. If you have a sweet tooth and satiate it with sugar, you can quickly see it on your skin. You can feed your sweet tooth and your skin by eating sweet fruit instead of anything sugary. When you do this, your skin won’t be the only beneficiary.

Eat a balanced, healthy diet. What you put into your body will ultimately reveal itself on the outside, so it’s essential to feed your body a diet that is low in carbohydrates, fats, and sugars so that your complexion stays clear and bright. Splurging is OK, but make sure that your diet stays healthy enough to look your best.

Even the most skilled makeup artist sometimes has difficulty applying lipstick neatly. After you have applied it, use a cleanup brush that has been dipped in powder to place the powder all along the lip outline. Next, use a disposable wedge sponge to blot away any excess powder that may be left.

For an inexpensive, spa-like facial, just lean yourself over a bowl of steaming hot water! Cover or wrap up your hair, fill any container with boiling water and allow the steam to open and clear your pores! It is soothing and stimulating and very cost-effective. Follow up with cold water to close and refresh pores, then add moisturizer!

Do wonders for your appearance; increase the blood flow and circulation to your face making you look less tired! Firmly massage your ears and earlobes from top to bottom using your thumb and forefinger. Massaging in this manner stimulates the flow of blood to your face without damaging tender skin, so your complexion will be refreshed and appear much brighter.

Spend some time and money learning proper makeup application techniques from the experts. These techniques can make your face makeup look better and save you a lot of money; you won’t need to use as much of a makeup product if you are applying it to your skin correctly.
